Abstract


The cultivation of university students’ innovation capabilities is a subject with theoretical and practice value. The university education, which belongs to higher education, assumes the major task of nurturing innovative talents and conducting the national strategy of "develop the country through science and education". Therefore, university education should strengthen the theoretical research and practice exploration for the innovation capabilities, seek for their combination and thus cultivate an increasing number of talents with innovation capabilities Based on the practice and reality, we analyzed the existing literature, define the structure of university students’innovation capabilities, by collect and analyze data from questionnaires and interviews to students. We analyzed the differences of university students’ innovation capabilities according to the background variables of university students, and analyzed what factors do effort their innovation capabilities.The paper was discussed in six chapters. The first chapter is introduction. It introduces the background and significance of the topic, general research situation home and abroad, research ideas, research tools and objects. The second chapter is the preparation and issuance of the questionnaire, elaborating design and survey process of the questionnaire tool. The third chapter is the structure of the university students’ innovation capabilities, using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis to determine the structural model. The fourth chapter is the factors Structure of the impact on university students’ innovation capabilities, using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis to determine the structural model. The fifth chapter is survey analysis of university students’ innovation capabilities, including analysis of the innovation capabilities differences in general background variables, university students’ innovation capabilities factors analysis. The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the study and Prospects.The study found that the overall level of students’innovation capabilities remains to be strengthen, it is necessary to ensure that the cultivation of students’ innovation capabilities from the national education policy and school system, both the basics of learning and the overall quality of training; The innovation capabilities was not significantly different in grades, origins and political affiliation of students, there should not be too much emphasis on the differences of the students’ origins and the political landscape. Students’ innovation capabilities of different categories of universities is not in the same level. The survey found that students from colleges directly under the Ministry of Education had higher innovative abilities than general undergraduate college students. The general undergraduate college students’ innovative abilities were better than those in provincial universities. Provincial key institutions should focus on strengthening the cultivation of students’ innovative ability. Broad participation in activities obviously promote the cultivation of students’ innovation capabilities.Colleges and universities should encourage students out of the classroom and get involved. Value the leading roles of instructors in student activities; Focus on the leadership of the person in charge of the activities; Improve activity related policies of school.
