Abstract


The basic course of network technology is compulsory course to the students majoring in engineering computer science in vocational school. It aimed at training the students with basic network technology. It will be a good guidance and reference to the follow-up work. The teaching difficulty is relative high. The author often adopts the pattern of the combination of teaching and practicing during the teaching process. The teaching process involves the teaching and practicing the knowledge by the teachers, learning the knowledge by the students. Without the teachers, the students will be unable to consolidate learning and review of the literature. Thus, the teaching quality is terrible. Therefore, it is necessary to renew the teaching idea, explore the effective teaching methods and strategies, and improve the teaching quality.Video operation exhibits the detailed working process. It makes the teachers to keep away from the boring explanation. And the individualized instruction could be carried out. During the learning process, the students could learn the knowledge points that are difficult to understand and master through the video operation.This topic is the applied teaching research of establishment of small local area network by introducing the video operation example to the vocational basic course of network technology. It demonstrated the significance of this research based on putting forward a proposal and supporting by the related theories. It illuminated the definition and connotation of the video operation examples, as well as the integration with the curriculum. Then, the practical teaching scheme is designed. The design and practice are carried out on the aspects, such as the analysis of teaching objectives, content, students, the design of the learning tasks, learning resources, teaching strategy, video operation examples, and the assessment of learning quality.In the practice of teaching, the leading role of the teachers and the introduction of video operation examples, and the students’learning activity should be noticed. The teachers really become the organizer and leader during the learning process. From the test, the introducing of video operation example aroused the students’learning interest in network technology basis. Students could use video operation examples to solve the specific problems actively when they meet the difficulties during the learning process. Moreover, the teachers don’t have to repeat and demonstrate some problems. On the contrary, the teachers could focus on the individual teaching. In this way, the quality of teaching could be improved.
