Abstract


With the rapid development of the process of globalization and internationalization of the world economy and society, the economic cooperation and the academic and cultural exchanges between countries in the world have become closer. In order to speed up the pace of China’s opening up and actively participate in competition of the international economy market, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council has put forth the "Going Globally" Strategy timely, and has listed it as an important strategy for the national economic development.The enterprises’"Going Globally" is an important component of China’s "Gong Globally" Strategy. As the "Going Globally" enterprises with the characteristics of international, multinational and global, to enhance their international competitiveness, they must have a team of international and compound talents with comprehensive well-quality, capable to work, highly technical professional, versed in international business, familiar with international environment and rules, having a sense of international competition and also having the international professional background knowledge. Hence, in order to win their place in overseas markets, the "Going Globally" enterprises must establish an institutional system for staff training, on the basis of the integration requires on the employees’development and the enterprises’development for competition in the markets, which should be taken as the foundation of the enterprises’strategic development.Currently, there are total of29enterprises in Guizhou holding the overseas project contracting business qualification for "going globally". However, among them, there are three branches of central enterprises in Guizhou and four Guizhou provincial state-owned enterprises have been undertaking the contract projects in the foreign countries or areas. This article just takes the "Going Globally" enterprises which are holding the overseas project contracting business qualification and have undertaken the projects in overseas as the research object. After visited and researched the five "Going Globally" enterprises in the sevens’, which are rapid development, large-scale and undertaking more contract projects in the foreign countries or areas, the writer found that though the enterprises leaders have some knowledge on the importance of staff training, and listed the training as a key point of the enterprises development planning, there are still some problems in practice, such as inadequate funding for the training work, the arrangement of training courses is out of touch with the requirement of international market competition, the training form is simple and etc.For the particularity of the "Going Globally" enterprises, the importance of the "Going Globally" enterprises staff training, the particularity of the staff needs, the existing problems and the reasons of Guizhou "Going Globally" enterprises staff training, the writer puts forth practicable suggestions for Guizhou "Going Globally" enterprises to train the staff in an effective way. The writer believes that Guizhou "Going Globally" enterprises should follow the "training for the demand " principle, to set up a scientific and effective institutional system for the international and compound staff training, which is on the basis of the integration requires on the employees’ development and the enterprises’development for competition in the markets.
