Abstract


For the development of sports in a country, it is necessary to have hardware conditionsand material basis like public stadiums. The turning point in China’s development of publicsports venues is the reform and opening up, from when China’s administrative managementtransit to a market economy model. This means China’s national stadium buildingmanagement system start to adapt to a fundamental change in economic reform.Like most Stadium in China,Liaoning Chaoyang District Stadium has transited fromfull subsidy to the difference budget management fiscal policy,it has been using the methodof operation management for two decades,and operation management approach increasinglyimproved management practices in the various sports venues.As the changing of themanagement way, Liaoning Chaoyang District Stadium has won a preliminaryachievements,revealed the professional sports competitions,obtained the new achievement insports facilities maintenance and maintenance cost, achieved remarkable economic and socialbenefits.At the same time,Liaoning Chaoyang District Stadium management also has someproblems, such as lack of market competitiveness, the lack of flexibility of the businessmodel,venues utilization remains to be further improved, in recent years professional braindrain is serious, the lack of demand for sports fitness market research,the effectiveperformance appraisal and incentive to managers.Thus limiting the space and opportunitiesfor development.Foundation on the studies for the Liaoning Chaoyang District Stadium during myundergraduate internship three years ago,through the SWOT analysis of the stadium,we canfind that the Liaoning Chaoyang District Stadium has seven advantages,four opportunities,three threats and three weaknesses.Advantages and opportunities significantly greater than thethreats and weaknesses, in the S-0area, so we should adopt the strategy of growth.We cantry to develop new markets, increase the opening to the outside world project and soon.Reasonable utilization of the resources advantage of stadium, improve service quality andservice variety, the stadium facing development opportunities is bigger than threat,opportunity will be dominant.If the Liaoning Chaoyang District Stadium can utilize existingresources, further strengthen internal standardization system, in accordance with the modernenterprise management system, and practice the enterprise management on venues’managing,it will certainly get a better economic and social benefits.
