With the rapid popularity of the Internet,nowadays people’s lives can be said to havebeen inseparable from the network, so the security issues in network communication havedrew more and more attention.However, the traditional passive defense methods, such asFirewall, Intrusion Detection and so on, appear to be inadequate for the ever-changingnetwork attack.Moving Target Defense has become today’s research focus because of itsdynamic and initiative characteristics, its basic idea is to turn each node in the networkinto a dynamic target to resist the attack.As a part of the moving target defense, the basicidea of address and port hopping is to dynamically change both the address and port in-formation during the communication,so it is difficult for an attacker to eavesdrop and in-terfere the communication. In this paper, by analyzing the existing defects of the existingaddress and port hopping methods, we put forward a improved address and port hoppingmethod, apply it to the audio and video communication, and verify the feasibility and an-ti-attack capability of the method.This paper first introduces the background and significance of the research, and ana-lyzes the research status of network security and address and port hopping.Then, throughselecting several common network attacks and security defense methods, we carry out adetailed analysis of their realization and the basic principles.Meanwhile, serveral flaws ofthese methods are pointed out and the address and port hopping method is brought.Then,Facing the defects of the traditional address and port hopping methods, we putforward a improved address and port hopping method, and introduce the hopping mecha-nism and the corresponding function module design in detail.This method has adopted atimestamp synchronization strategy based on a sliding window and an improved networktime synchronization correction scheme.This method effectively overcome the affect ofnetwork transmission delays and congestion, improve the security in the hopping process,and ensure the synchronization success rate in the hopping process.Finally, we apply the address and port hopping method into the audio and videocommunication system.We focus on the implementation of the key modules of the system, such as audio and video data processing module, time synchronization correction moduleand dynamic network transmission module.At last, some testing are done for verifying thefeasibility and anti-attack capability of the system.
