As the development of information technology and digital growing deeper and deeper,communication technology promote from analog to full digital communications.The wirelesscommunication systems are developing with a high speed.The tendency of downsizing and highlyintegrated cannot be reversed. DCS Digital Remote RF Units are important complement for wirelessaccess network.It plays more and more significant effort in wireless signal coverage.Nowadays, GSM system is the most amount of wireless repeater.They are widely used in thecoverage domain worldwide. With the wireless users’ scale continuous growing, the G nets’ frequencyspectrum is becoming nervous. So it broadens the GSM network by taking DCS as a supplement.Thesystem designer not only to understand its architecture, but should also understand and research thesystem when designing a repeater.It highly demands the system designer for linking with the rf index’sexternal performance and the intrinsic nature of structure function, perfecting its property and meetingthe market’s need. To be a designer of DRRU, they should pay attention to do more research on it, orcooperate with professionals. Only in this way can the products meet the engineering practical needs.The first chapter introduces the first case of DRRU system and introduces the developmentbackground, status and main work; second chapter discusses the theoretical basis of DRRU and digitalfluctuation frequency conversion module, three main interference factors. It also analogy DRRU withthe types of recent repeaters; third chapter system elaborates the designing method of overall designmethod of DRRU, such as structure’s principle,intermediate frequency dish,system fuction and itsconfiguration designing; In four chapter, it introduces the system’s indexes designing method in detailand explore the way to make the key performance module of DDC and DUC module; In the fifthchapter introduces three new function in order to improve the infect interferences,such as noisesuppression,AGC and DPD function;In sixth chapter on the overall project has been given a summaryand especiliy for the project describes the work I am responsible for. Finally, it points out somedeficiencies in academic.
