Abstract


With the rapid development of computer multimedia technology, the computer has become more and more important in education. Computer-aided instruction has become an important field of education teaching methods. Currently multimedia in education and teaching in the main application is still teaching, how to introduce multimedia technology to exam has become the focus of research and application.The traditional way in testing spoken English is to examine the main examiner direct dialogue between teachers and students. Examiners teachers ask students some questions and then students answer teachers’questions. There are some questions in this exam:the exam cannot reflect the true level of candidates, the examination lacks fairness, the examination consumes a lot of teaching resources and other issues.The man-machine dialogue system can effectively combine multimedia technology instead of using a computer teacher for English oral questions by the computer and record students’answer to the questions throughout the process so that in assessing the results, the teacher can re-listen to any reexamination Interviewing live. While playing a standard computer voice, pure tone makes the candidates in a relaxed atmosphere in the language, which can be more natural to play their original listening and speaking skills. To make a more standard oral exam, fairer, more economical, we designed and developed an English Test machine dialogue system, which is developed for the Liaohe Oilfield Company level training of cadres English oral exam.The system by using Microsoft Visual Basic programming language, Microsoft Access database management system combined with computer multimedia technology. In software engineering, feasibility analysis, requirements analysis, design, detailed design, testing and other methods under the guidance of the author analyzed and designed the English Test man-machine dialogue system. Used in the design of WAVE audio files, including audio input, save, play and so on. System has a student information management, teacher information management, test management and test management repository and other major functions. By reading essays, short answer, and discusses three kinds of questions of the candidates for oral test. English Test machine dialogue system applications up not only efficient, easy to use, saving time and labor, but also to improve the fairness test and science also play a very important role.
