Research on Animal Pathogen Fractal Image and Recognition Method Based on Generalized Structural Element

Since the previous analysis and study of animal pathogens mainly use artificial classification and statistics, the image recognition of animal pathogen has been a difficult problem in that it lacks the objective evaluation standard because after using the electron microscope to skip the animal pathogen, researchers need to judge with their experience. This paper will apply the digital image processing technology and pattern recognition technology in the studying of fractal and image pattern recognition of pathogen so that the identification of bacteria can be automatized. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)Image preprocessing. First, the collected images are gray-scale processed, then compare and analyze the gray-scale images by using a variety of image enhancement algorithm comparison analysis, and process them with the binary of the image processing.(2)Generalized structure design. This paper select rhombus, square and oval octagonal as the basic structural elements which are defined by the structure and size of generalized structure elements. Thus, these structures can choose different structure elements according to the image structures. The image information can remove noise by adjusting its size to be in accordance with the initiative structure and use these methods such as morphological dilation, erosion, opening and closing of basic operations and combination budget filtering and image segmentation and so on, to process it. The experiment shows this method can get good segmentation image.(3)Image feature extraction and classifier design. This paper puts forward the hierarchical matching model according to the degrees of the profile through the analysis of the characteristics of Escherichia coli, perimeter, area, long axis, short axis length of long, rectangularity, circularity and local features of blunt ends round. This study finds out that the experimental results obtained by using the generalized structure element approach are in accordance with the actual situation and also highly accurate.
