Abstract


With the rapid development of computer network, it become more and more often used in people daily life. At the same time, network becomes more difficult to manage due its heterogeneity. The network management system can grow up the quality of network service and the Performance of network. It consequently turns out to be a critical research area to design an efficient network management system to manage the ever-growing network, usability of network security, to provide better service, improve the network communication network performance and service qualityBased on the simple network management protocol (SNMP) network monitoring, capable of network equipment performance parameters of collect, store and analysis, so that network administrator can not only get the real-time performance of network information, timely solve the network alarm, and at different periods can the network traffic analysis and prediction of network parameters to the development trend of network equipment, thereby adjusting the configuration, network performance more reasonable. This thesis proposes based on B/S structure of three layers of network performance monitoring and management system, the design scheme of network performance parameters of the real-time monitoring, data processing and alarm function.Using this system, not only can solve traditional network model, low efficiency of overload weaknesses, still can make management personnel from the work site restrictions, needn’t waiting for network operation conditions, and improve the management of network scalability.According to the requirements of commercial network management.Implementation of a comprehensive monitoring network system based on SNMP protocol.Can real-time monitor changes in network, to achieve accurate fault to specific users, and abnormal timely through the log, text messages back to the network administrator, greatly improving the accuracy and the performance of network management of network fault location.
