With the development of optical fiber sensing technology and opticalcommunication, optical fiber sensor has become a hot spot. At present, fiber opticalsensor has many advantages such as the simplicity in structure, convenience to use, highreliability, flexibility in transmission and so on, which makes it to be used in manyapplications and mostly used for the measurement of strain, stress, displacement,electromagnetic fields, and other physical parameters.How to improve the working efficiency of the optical fiber devices becomes a bigproblem for making this kind of devices, this paper is used to study the issue, byoptimizing to find the matching parameters associated with the device, and the influenceof the ZnO coating optical fiber sensor’s each relevant parameter on the wholetransmission process is studied. These provide important theoretical basis for makingoptical fiber sensor with ZnO coating.In this paper, based on a large number of information and researches, first theoptical fiber sensor is briefly outlined. Background, significance and research status athome and abroad of the optical sensor with ZnO coating such acousto-optic devices areintroduced. Then the equivalent circuits, network models of the sensor are analyzed, andthe optimization objective functions models are established. Objective functionoptimizations are optimized by MATLAB of extensive ant colony algorithm (ACOR),particle swarm optimization (PSO) and extensive particle swarm ant colony algorithm(PACO_R), and the optimal values are compared, PACO_Rhas more strong ability tosearch the global solutions The mainly study is the effect of various parameters on thedevice is studied according to the values optimized by ACOR, these provide matchingparameters basis for making optical fiber sensor with ZnO coating. The phase offset ofoptical fiber phase sensor is studied, acousto-optic interaction mechanism is deducedfrom the theory, and then the mathematic model of phase shift is obtained, and thecorrelation of the power coupling efficiency and phase shift is also summarized. Thenthe theoretical calculation values and measurement values are compared, thecharacteristics of phase shift are further analyzed.
