Abstract

The conventional MPPT algorithm was proposed to rely on more condition, and narrowscope of application, and often used in small and medium-sized power wind turbines, difficultto meet the complex mechanism of the nonlinear and time-varying wind machine system withlarge inertia. At now, those conventional algorithm is not very high efficiency of wind energycapture. Same question is, wind machines can’t combine maximum wind energy capture andsystem load minimum organic. These common drawbacks exist in wind machine controlalgorithm, so a new algorithm is proposed by dissertation, this algorithm are used in part ofpower and above rated power. For the shortcomings of the conventional MPPT algorithm, a compromise algorithm areproposed to solve the above problems, both to maximize the wind energy capture while also beable to take into account of the fatigue loads. The sliding mode based on frequency separationcontrol algorithm for wind energy capture system may be able to integrate both of them, it isvery suitable for the transmission of WTGS control. On the basis of the existing electronicdevices, this control is very easy to implement.Firstly, the dissertation describes the model of wind and the knowledge of the load ofmechanic, and represents some common algorithm of MPPT. Then proposed an optimizedcontrol structure, aimed at a balance between maximize the efficiency and a minimum ofcontrol input. The idea is,wind model analysis, decomposed into low frequency part and highfrequency part, to provide the necessary conditions for the implementation of sliding modecontrol algorithm. The dissertation compares between conventional algorithms and frequency separationsliding mode algorithm to draw the difference of them, and their advantages and disadvantagesand how they reduce the extent and effect of fatigue load. Through the Matlab/Simulinksimulation platform, the related algorithms are verified respectively. Finally, the superiority ofthe sliding mode algorithm based on the frequency separation principle is proposed. Thesimulation results fully prove the correctness and feasibility of the control strategy.
