Abstract


Regenerative reheating furnace is a very important facility in rolling production line,its normal operation has a direct impact on the quality of slab heating, thereby affects thequality of the plate rolling and steel yield. Regenerative reheating furnace is a nonlinearsystems of large inertia, pure lag and parameters distribution, heating form is continuousand batch type. As an important part of the rolling mill, improving the performance of theautomatic control system and monitoring the operation of the field devices have greatsignificance.This paper takes regenerative walking beam reheating furnace of4300mm HeavyPlate in Qinhuangdao Shouqin Metal Materials Co. Ltd as the research object, designautomatic control system, the main work is as follows:Fistly, according to4300mm heavy plate reheating furnace equipment structure,process and control mode, the control methord of the regenerative walking furnace wasgiven. automatic control system based on the master controller S7-400PLC, distributedET200M and the workstation constitute a plant-level management network. Thecomposition and field equipment, instrumentation were given, the operation monitor andonline adjustment of field devices were relized.Secondly, the softwares of L1control system and L2control system were designed.L1control system gave the control ideas and implement program of the field devices onElectronic control systems and instrumentation control system. L2control system gave theSystem architecture design and function realization and data communications managementsoftware.The regenerative reheating furnace automatic control system is stable, it improve thecontrol accuracy, improve the quality of the production, Optimize the efficiency ofproduction and production processes, and achieved good application results.
