Nondestructive testing is designation of all the technology. Used of it, we can get objectdetection information such as location, nature and quantity, and determination of thetechnical conditions through use of sound, light, magnetic and electrical properties.Ultrasonic testing have the advantages of testing with low cost, fast detection and highsensitivity, so it’s important in the nondestructive testing. Traditional NDT with type A, typeB and C. When to complex building object detection, a single ultrasonic probe of powerless,so they need to adopt more probe, multi-angle method for testing. In ultrasonic CT, not allchannels need to be tested, each probe can be setting up.So we need to implementmulti-channel way. we not use all channel so flexible channel detection can in differentsituation of use different channel.This paper is mainly to design flexible multi-channel digital ultrasonic system. It’s madeof emission circuit and receive circuit. The machine advantage is more small, digital andmodularization.At the first of all, the paper involved in the propagation characteristics and physicalparameters of ultrasonic. It’s analyzes the working of the transducer,especially of immersiontransducer method and its equation. Then build the overall framework of multi-channeldigital ultrasonic system and finally developed a multi-channel digital ultrasonic systemoverall scheme by analyzing the overall framework to solve the key technology of each partis connected between the system. In the package includes many modules, such as Powersupply module, the ultrasonic pulse transmitting module and receiving module, analog switchmodule, FPGA control transmission module, an LVDS conversion module, USBtransmission module and so on. The thesis detail of all module and verified the correctnessand the practical through theoretical calculation and simulation and the actual product toverify and compared to standard instrument. A software program is use to hardware circuitincludes of emission,receive and data acquisition program with fpga, on the another hand is written in LabView data transmission display program. Finally completed multi-channeldigital ultrasonic system testing by hardware plus software method.
