Abstract


It is very important for the competitive basketball to select the reserve with the improving athlete’s athletics level. The basic sports schools bear the responsibility for training and selection of the reserve sports talents and the coaches in municipal schools play the very important role in the process. The ability of the coach is the promise to improve the achievement.The study focuses on the basketball coach team structure in municipal schools of Hebei province by using the questionnaire and mathematical statistics, the literature material method, analysis the problems and puts forward relevant suggestions to sports authorities for reference.The main conclusions The age structure of the basketball coaches in municipal schools is break; education structure seems to be reasonable but most obtained by the part-time; the knowledge structure is weak, scientific research ability is poor; the female is not enough. The coaches have the rich teaching experience, but they are short of the management capability. The Coaches can control the training according to their experiences; on making training plan, few people can make long-term project, scientific training should be improved. The basketball coaches are weak in scientific research ability and the innovation in teaching according to the research. On one hand, it is related with their own knowledge and motivation level, on the other hand also related with the quality of the coaches and the limited coaches have high pressure because they are assessed refer to the rewards they get attending the contest .It is appointed mainly by the leader in selecting the coach ; the training cost for the coach is higher, but less target. It makes the coaches lose their activities.Related SuggestionsManagement department should strengthen the training to coaches in municipal schools especially to the excellent young coaches . The coaches should be assessed regularly and transfer the unqualified coaches in time. The highly educated talent can assist in training, meanwhile, the coaches should be given the leading role in the basketball teaching and training. It is necessary to set up the basketball Competition system, increase the number of sports game; it is a good way to reward coaches who cultivate the outstanding athletes to motivate, meanwhile, the school can get financial support by making paid training. Management department should improve the overall level of the basketball coaches by carrying out some activities to exchange their experiences, and at the same time the coach team should be managed scientifically. The coach should have a spirit of innovation, must be good at analysis in the teaching process to get the efficient solutions and test it in teaching process.
