Abstract


From1987to the present nearly30years, as an emerging industry in China, the express industry has arapid growth. It gradually developed into the emerging modern service industry to promote the growth ofthe national economy and upgrading the industrial structure. the express delivery industry has a greatinfluence on other industries, which means that the express delivery industry development can affect thedevelopment of the industry which require express service more such as e-commerce, transportation,logistics, financial industry and other departments, The same time, the development of express industrymake a higher requirements of these industries on technology, personnel, hardware and so on.But China’s express delivery industry is still in its initial stage of development, there are manyproblems because the e-commerce related industries supporting is very weak. The main content of thispaper is to study the express industry, from the perspective of industrial organization analysis of the needfor development of express industry and express industry development path.Make the analysis of all aspects of China’s express delivery industry, use the PEST analysis methodto deeply analysis of the express delivery industry, and then applied the theory of industrial organizationSCP to express industry to determine the China’s express delivery industry is based on the the SCP theoryof protection mechanism analysis, including the theory of industrial organization theory origin of the SCP,around the structure of the express delivery market, courier market behavior, express delivery marketperformance scope of the study to further explore the interrelationship between the express deliveryindustry SCP three industrial organization optimization.In summary, to promote the development of the express delivery industry, we must accelerate thein-depth reform of the organization of the express delivery industry, improve the industrial concentration ofthe express market, raise the express delivery industry barriers to entry and exit barriers, and accelerate theintegration of the development of the express delivery industry and related industries, But also to speed upthe construction of transportation, infrastructure, and to promote the construction and coordinateddevelopment of the financial industry and other service industries, Improve the supporting services of theexpress industry. On the basis of the above analysis study in Industrial Organization Policy Perspective,conducive to the development of express delivery industry recommendations.
