Abstract


Along with the supply chain management becomes more and more attractive, many enterprises are paying attention to a new stock pattern-Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). As one kind of new stock management strategy, VMI reflects supply chain integration, emphasizes the mutual cooperation of upstream and downstream enterprises, simplifies the supply chain links and benefits all the enterprises in the supply chain jointly which is an effective inventory management strategy. However, according to the implementation of VMI, there are still some problems. In order to solve the problems, numerous suppliers seek the help of Third Party Logistics (TPL). This thesis studies how to integrate VMI with TPL effectively and what influence on the integrated supply chain.This article first analyzes the background and significance of the third-party logistics vendor managed inventory, analysis of the domestic and the outside vendor managed inventory and third-party logistics Research, and these studies were summarized. Secondly, the introduction Vendor-managed inventory concept, produce, and Development, pointed out that the impact of factors that affect the implementation of vendor managed inventory. The analysis of these factors on the shortcomings of the VMI model is proposed based on third-party logistics supplier managed inventory model, and feasibility and necessity of research-based third-party logistics supplier managed inventory model; analysis the TPL and VMI integration model, integration mode of comparison as well as operation of the process. Prerequisite for its integration, steps, success factors, as well as integrated elements of the constraints and the risks and other.Finally, in the implementation of S company based third-party logistics supplier management librarySave mode case analysis, put forward some suggestions in this article. The conclusion of this article proved based on third-party logistics. Vendor-managed inventory model to reduce supply chain logistics costs and improve the efficiency of supply chain operations have played a positive role.
