Nowadays, it is unbalanced of the distribution of the land resources inour country. We have a too big population, as well as too small landrespectively. Worse more, the land-using structure is lack of rationality.So optimizing the land structure is very important to us.This paper, which takes Miyun, Beijing as the example, studies onhow to optimize the land-using structure. This paper aims to giveinstructions to Miyun on how to arrange the land-using reasonably,increase the use efficiency, and promote the society. In the meantime, italso can offer theory instructions to satellites of other cities.This paper adopts several mathematical models so as to measure andanalyze the land-using quantity, quality and diversity. The author selectsthe scale of society’s invests, the number of population in the end of year,GDP, GNP, the net of average earnings, the financial income andexpenses as independent variables. Then he makes a SPSS analysisbetween independent variables and dependent variables.Via analysis, we can get several conclusions. Firstly, the farm landand forest in Miyun become smaller and smaller form2009to2011, aswell as the amount of living land and industry land turned to be larger andlarger. Miyun stays in an adjusting period, and the diversity indeximproves.In the future, Miyun should distribute more land to living land andindustry land in city and towns, increase farm land, promoteenvironmental protection.
