Abstract


China’s manufacturing industry has grown up from a small scale to a large onewith more than thirty years of reform and opening-up policy. However, externaldemands are not as strong as they were before the global financial crisis in2008. Facedup with the setbacks in export and the cost rise of manual labor, China’s manufacturingindustry can not keep the previous developing mode of low cost and high energyconsumption. The only outlet for enterprises is a brand new way characterized bytechnological innovation which makes it possible for the upgrading and transformationof enterprises to meet with increasingly fierce international competitions. Under thesecircumstances, the urgent issues for enterprises include: how to improve thetechnological innovation ability? How to evaluate and monitor the outcome anddynamics of technological innovation inside the enterprise? Therefore, the thesisfocuses on the research into the evaluation and application of technological innovationinside the enterprises.Firstly, the thesis studies and analyzer literature concerning enterprisetechnological innovation from home and abroad, on the basis of which the thesis definesthe connotation and constitution of technological innovation ability in home applianceindustry.Secondly, according to the evaluation thinking of enterprise technologicalinnovation, the thesis analyzes the characteristics, the status quo and outlook of China’shome appliance industry innovation from the angle of innovation process. An evaluationindicator system of technological innovation inside an enterprise is thereby formed inconsideration of the practical technological situation of Sichuan Changhong electricCo.,Ltd.Lastly, the weight of each evaluating indicator is decided according to the analytichierarchy process to make the indicators more objective and real. With the evaluationsystem applied to evaluate two subsidiary companies of Sichuan Changhong electricCo.,Ltd. Solutions and suggestions are provided accordingly to foster and improve thetechnological innovation ability of enterprises.
