Abstract


Performance management is an important component of human resourcemanagement.It is closely linked with human resources job analysis, compensationsystems, personnel selection, training development, human resource planning andother modules.It is the premise for other modules’ effective implementation. Throughperformance management, corporate strategic objectives can achieve effective endingand get sustainable development, it also brings vitality to the enterprises and promotesenterprise’ development.China Telecom Corporation Ltd. M Branch is one of the M city’s communicationsoperators, it mainly engages in broadband Internet, mobile communications, fixedtelephone and other comprehensive information services. The thesis focused oncorporate performance management system, it based on the theory of performancemanagement, combined with the characteristics of company industry, operationalstatus and employees perceive,redesigned and made the explanation about the companyperformance management system again.The thesis put emphasis on theory and practice, operability and performanceimprovement, in the process of company performance system redesign,on one hand, ithighlighting the theory, on the other hand, it seriously considered the actual situation ofenterprises, then made reasonable performance system design. Meanwhile, the systemdesign would take the operability after optimize, the employee recognition andoperating practices into consideration. In performance system design process, moreattention should be paid to enhance performance, whether it was the use ofperformance tool, or performance of communication and improvement, they bothstarted from the staff capacity’s improving, hoped to achieve a win-win situation.This thesis was divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduced the researchbackground,the theory, research purposes, content and methods. The second chapterdescribed the basic situation of M Company, including a profile of the company,organizational structure, resources, inventory and so on. Chapter III made analysisabout the present status of M’S performance management, through the analysis ofexisting problems, proposed the necessity of M’s performance management systemdesign. The fourth chapter was the optimized design of M’s performance management system, it introduced the M’s designing ideas, principles, and related initiatives. Thefifth chapter was the suggestions for improvement after the performance managementsystem redesign’s being put into practice.The thesis focused on M Corporate’ performance management system,it intends topromote the company to better revitalize the human resources,makes the performancemanagement play vitality and play an effective promotion in enterprise management.Also it will provide better reference for corporate performance management.
