Abstract


Listed companies have an important position in the stock market, especially their strong market performance during2007to2009, and becoming the investment object in capital market. Use of the capital market to finance is critical for listed companies to become bigger and stronger for sustainable development, thus creating the needs of investor relations management. As a product of market development and equity culture risen in developed capital market countries, especially the United States, investor relations management has been great concern in recent years. The level of investor relations management in Shanxi listed companies is unsatisfactory and to some extent hampered the value of listed companies to upgrade.Sorting out domestic and foreign research of Investor Relations Management, in the light of the gaps and limitations of domestic and foreign theory, the paper has improved evaluation system of Investor Relations Management at the core of communication and has applied it in corporate practice of Shanxi listed companies, aiming at improving their whole level. Drawn from the study concludes that:Shanxi listed companies must first start from the investor relations management of their own to enhance its quality, website construction, investor relations management department building and enhancing communication initiative is the focus; Secondly, actively introducing institutional investors is the key to improve investor relations management quality of Shanxi listed companies. This study have a positive sense for Shanxi listed companies to raise the level of corporate governance and continuous healthy and stable development, and the countermeasures and suggestions made operable, reflecting a certain amount of innovation.Effeetive investor relations management is not only favorable for promoting market reputation of listed companies, protecting investors’benefits and achieving maximum of respective benefits, but for strengthening investing confidence in capital market and promoting its virtuous and healthy development.
