An Empirical Research on Factors Influencing Information-Sharing in Tourism Virtual Communities

Abstract


The advent of the era of community provides opportunities for virtual communities to become important platforms of information communication, tourism virtual communities to become more and more tourists channels of information. To provide some management suggestions for the development of tourism virtual community, promote the prosperity of tourism virtual community, the first part of this paper summarizes the predecessors’ achievements on the basis of the literature review. According to the analysis of factors influencing information-sharing in tourism virtual communities, this paper put forward the research hypotheses and models. In the main part, the questionnaire survey is designed and carried on tourism virtual communities. Then this paper uses software SPSS to carry out reliable analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, variance analysis. The results conclude that, in tourism virtual community, self-efficacy, motivation, online dating connection strength, trust, reciprocity, incentives for members of the community identity and community information sharing behavior have a positive impact. In addition, the characteristics of different groups of information sharing, networking length, average length, member registration time, participate in the way there are differences between the different members of the information sharing, networking length in eight hours or more significantly higher than the net time share average8hours in the following information. The members in the community daily login time in more than2hours are significantly higher than the landing time between0.5to2hours a day average information sharing, significantly higher than the average daily login time between0.5to2hours daily login time share average of0.5hours in the following information. Not registered members of the information sharing of the extent of information sharing degree is lower than the registered members in two years, with the increase of member age, member information sharing degree, registered members of more than1year of age information sharing was significantly higher than that of registered members over the age of1year following the degree of information sharing. Information about the visitor’s information sharing was significantly lower than information sharing, together with a traveler, proper information to distributors the degree of information sharing. Finally, this paper summarizes the result of the empirical analysis, and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote information-sharing in tourism communities.
