Abstract


From the end of the last century, pet industry in China gradually arisen. Aftertwenty years of rapid development, it has formed a series of commercial activities likeproduction, sales and services. China’s pet industry has been developed for more than10years, but compared with the developed countries it is still in the preliminary stage ofindustrial development. But the domestic market in the future will face greater businessopportunities. Since2010the intelligent mobile phone users increased year by year.With the rise of mobile Internet application the concept of SoLoMo swept the world. Inorder to enable the company to comply with the development trend of mobile Internet,Goumin will bring the SoLoMo concept into pet industry.This paper mainly expounds the entrepreneurship program of Goumin’sinternational business. Goumin has become the most active and the most sticky dogSNS site since it was launched in September1,2006by precise positioning, stronginteraction. Domestic business has four parts. It includes forums, e-commence, onlinemedical consulting and dog magazine. International business includes two parts Pet+and the global E-business of pet medicine. Pet+is a mobile application for global petowners which includes social, localization based services, price comparison and petsitting. We will build it as the pet owner’s necessary tool with multiple languageversions. Marketing will be positioned in the United States, Europe, Asia, and thedomestic Beijing, Shanghai and other developed city. The excellent interface design andprecise positioning of pet owner’s needs can form the core competence of the business.Firstly we will lead users to use our global pet medication e-business by pricecomparison to revenue. And then if we gathered enough members, we can achieveprofitability by advertising and e-commerce site guiding fee. By estimating, we needventure investment2M, expected discounted payback period is1years. Pet+is a goodprofitability venture capital investment project which not needed invest so much.
