Abstract


As economical globalization procedure and information technology develops, a new round ofglobal industrial restructuring is under way. After the U.S. financial crisis in2008, many countriescontinue to increase the investment in technological innovation, and regard the development ofhigh-tech industries as a strategic breakthrough to promote economical and social developmentduring the process of introducing economic planning rescue. Emerging industries will promote adominant force in world economic development. Modern service industry that software andinformation service is the representative of is at an unprecedented rate to achieve cross-bordertransfers. Professional service appears the trend of globalization, especially the financial serviceindustry is back into high-growth. After the financial crisis，driven by the cost factor, the financialbackground industry rendered from Europe and the U.S. to the Asia-Pacific region on a global scalein the new situation, a new round of global financial services industry transfer is approaching.Although China has achieved rapid economic development in the past20years, it is now facing theindustrial upgrading and economic restructuring. Financial back-office outsourcing industry ispromoted in most economically developed cities in the country as a new industrial pattern. Thebackground of this study of financial services outsourcing industry economic effects is to provewhether China’s financial background service outsourcing industry has played a positive role inpromoting economic growth, employment and development of tertiary industry and internationaltrade situation.At present, research on domestic and foreign financial background service outsourcingindustry for the economic effects is rare, which has become one of the significance of this study. Inthis paper, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis is used as a combination of methods, firstly,the text discusses the economic effect of the presence and cites relevant data to help, then uses thehistorical data for2008-2012, selected our15typical financial background service outsourcing basecities as the research object, through industrial concentration degree, economic base, infrastructure,human capital aspects and the specific16indicators to build financial background serviceoutsourcing base competitiveness index, and establishes six econometric model using thecompetitiveness index and economic effects to do regression to determine the economic effect ofthe presence and significance. Then empirical analysis results show that the financial backgroundservice outsourcing industry can promote economic growth, increase employment, promote thedevelopment of tertiary industry and upgrading of industrial structure, and promote service exportand foreign investment, which is consistent with the theoretical certification. Finally, to improve thequality of financial background service base, we must improve some problems existed in our financial background service bases. From the actual situation, combined with the results of thisstudy, the author puts forward some relevant countermeasures.
