In recent years, the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) become the important growth point of economic development. Cultivating good SME customer base is becoming commercial banks’new strategic options. Banks are special companies operating monetary operations It faces a variety of risks, especially credit risk. According to the SME-specific risk characteristics, combined with the actual situation of the A branch of the Bank of Dalian, this thesis carried out the research on small business credit risk management.This thesis research on A Branch of Dalian Bank small business credit risk management, which is based on credit rationing under asymmetric information theory, relationship lending and SME credit, credit risk control and risk management of SMEs credit and related literature according to" ask questions-analysis-solve the Problem" ideas. This thesis get the conclusion that A Branch have the problems that A Branch lacks credit for small business risk management system, the risk assessment method for small businesses unscientific and loans variety is single and so on.According to the problems, this thesis presents measures for A branch’s SME loan risk management, that is establishing a sound risk management system, improving rating and evaluation system for SMEs and developing loan products for SMEs. Through a series of measures, it can improve the ability of risk management of SME loans, effectively control SME loan risk, and improve economic benefits of A Branch.
