Abstract


Compared to earlier art forms more easily accepted by the audience , so the movie is more likely than any other art form has aroused concern because of the the movie special unlimited extension of time , space , and the shape of the image . It is precisely because the movie has such a strong social effect , establish a powerful film censorship system is the choice of each country 's administration must . Early film censorship in China, has become an important bargaining chip of cooperation and competition between the government-run film companies and private film companies . This article aims to introduce the establishment and development of the early film censorship in China , reflects one aspect of the complex relationship of that period, government-run and private movie .
