Virtual surgery simulation system is a simulated doctors during surgery virtual reality applications . A variety of situations that may arise by simulated surgical procedure , medical workers to practice surgical operation and learn how to cope with emergencies surgery virtual scene . Use of virtual surgery simulation system for surgical training can save the cost and time of the training of medical personnel , reduce the risk of medical workers to practice surgery operation , has a very important significance in promoting the improvement of medical standards . Soft tissue cutting operation is an important part of the virtual surgery simulation requires the ability to do the cutting operation has better real-time interaction and stability at the same time be able to give the operator visual and tactile realistic , immersive experience . Cut of the virtual surgery tetrahedral model algorithm complexity , real-time and stability . Complexity of the algorithm and real-time aspects of virtual surgery Tetrahedrons cutting voxel subdivision algorithm , and propose a new tetrahedralization algorithm for the shortcomings of the algorithm , the original tetrahedron fine class 3 stars cut algorithm the incomplete cutting tetrahedral subdivision converted to category 2 is completely cut tetrahedral type , so that the original five kinds of cutting type simplified to two kinds , and tetrahedral cutting process may occur the special circumstances of the classification process , and greatly simplifies the tetrahedron cut classification , thereby increasing the speed of the tetrahedral cutting algorithm execution . Stability , in order to reduce the number of the irregular tetrahedral elements generate cutting algorithm is proposed based on the side length and cut the extension cord cutting point translation strategy , in real-time and realistic premise does not affect the cutting algorithm to improve the cutting after the model quality , thereby improving the stability of the system under continuous cutting operation . Computer simulation environment to achieve the cutting and cut-point translation algorithm , and the experimental results were analyzed and compared .
