Abstract

Laser diode pumped laser crystal absorbs light energy generated fluorescence radiation , while some pump light energy into thermal energy of the crystal , the crystal forming a non- uniform temperature gradient within the field of distribution , thermal deformation causing the crystal . This thermal effect of laser crystal serious impact on the laser diode-pumped solid-state laser performance . Through theoretical analysis and numerical calculation, the thermal deformation of lath laser crystal were studied in detail . And then provide numerical results obtained with the literature [ 34 ] in applied physics methods to compare the values ??obtained . Through this paper , we can draw the crystal thermal deformation of the law, in order to improve the laser diode-pumped solid-state lasers provide the basis for the performance . The main contents of this paper include: ( 1 ) introduces thermal elasticity theory and its application in the field of engineering applications , and introduces thermal effect of laser crystal Research ; ( 2 ) lath laser crystal thermal deformation of Thermoelastic Analysis . Application of heat elasticity theory, combined with the stress boundary conditions , solution heat balance equation of elasticity , displacement field within the crystal obtained analytical solution ; ( 3 ) using the numerical method of lath laser crystal thermal deformation , and with the results of physical methods for comparison.
