Data processing is a very important module in the Industrial Measurement System. This work aimed at the principles and implementation about the data processing module of the analysis system for testing the mechanical characteristic of high voltage switches, combined with the practical research and a mass of references.First of all, the performance requirements which belong to the testing device for the mechanical characteristic of high voltage are introduced. Then, according to the different functions performed by data processing module in the whole testing system, the design and implement about the data processing module is discussed, including communication between the up level machine and the down level machine, digital filter, and extracting of important parameters. The USB communication is utilized in this work to connect the up level machine and the down level machine and enable data transmission between them. In order to avoid the molestation, the digital filter is designed in the up level machine, and C++ Builder and MATLAB are jointly used for implementing the digital filter. How to extract some important parameters is elaborated, especially about the travel of contact parameter. In the end, combined with the theory of software test, the testing of the data process module and the whole system is given. The method of data processing introduced in this thesis is inspected and verified of both feasibility and practicability. Finally, this work is proven to be an effective and convenient method for power suppliers and switch corporations.
