Abstract


Pressure switch is widely used in aviation and aerospace instruments, whose performance directly effects the operating performance and lifetime of instrument. Most of the current detection methods are manual or semi-automatic, which can not measure pressure switch accurately and efficiently. With the rapid development of pressure switch technology, the test method should be renovated urgently. Therefore, pressure switch automation detection system based on IPC is designed in this paper.The testing method aims at contact resistance, insulation resistance, action pressure and restoration pressure of pressure switch is deeply analyzed in this paper. The four-terminal button method that can measure micro-resistance is proposed. In view of the testing method of each parameter, the automation detection system is designed, which is composed of IPC, megaohm meter, milliohm meter, pressure sensors, signal adjusting circuit and computer data acquisition card. The hardware design of system is accomplished. The program of pressure switch automation detection system based on LabVIEW is developed. The system has a more friendly interface and functions of stress acquisition, detection and data storage. The eligibility of pressure switch can be estimate automatically by test results. The system can measure five products.The system has been improved by analyzing the problems appeared in actual testing procedure. Compared with traditional detection method, the system is proved feasible by the result of testing data. And it has the advantage of high efficiency and less personal errors. The system can accomplish the inspection of pressure switch’s quality for factory which should manufacture plenty of pressure switches.
