Abstract


With the fast development of urban rail transit, stray current corrosion has been widely concerned. The corrosion to the main structure steels of subway and other underground metal structure is serious, and it can cause great economic loss and safety accident trouble. So it is an important direction of rail transit safety to study the distribution rule of stray current.Firstly, the formation and hazard of stray current have been proposed in the paper. As well as the current situation of stray current research at home and abroad has been introduced. Then, the mathematical model of typical DC traction power supply system is constructed. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the characteristics and distribution of stray current are obtained at either drainage or non-drainage situation. Digital simulation of the model has been done by MATLAB software. According to the simulation results, each factor that affected stray current distribution rule and the influence degree have been analyzed deeply. Connection with the designing of the stray current protection and monitoring system, the methods to control stray current are discussed, and the meaning and the measurements of main monitoring parameters are analyzed. Different monitoring systems are compared and the distributed monitoring system is chosen which is up to the actual needs of the projects. Finally, Combine with the characteristic of 1st & 2nd construction projects of Shenzhen rapid railway line 4,the proper stray current protection and monitoring system is designed. Through the monitoring data of the system, it is illustrated that the monitoring and the protection system is effective, and it holds obvious distinctive economic and social benefits.
