Abstract


The "skylight" means the period of railway maintenance. To assign and use correctly and reasonably the "skylight" period is the key to increase the maintenance efficiency, guarantee the safety of the operations of trains, reduce the duration of projects and increase the economic benefit. Since the railway speed, train weight and the service frequency increase, the railway damages and the hidden dangers get worse and worse; the train intervals become shorter and shorter. The maintenance period can not be guarantee because of different kinds of reasons, while the threat becomes more and more serious to the security of operations and passengers. With a characteristic of high speed and high service frequency, the Dedicated Passenger Line (DPL) has a higher requirement to the assignment of "skylight"Focused on the background that the high-speed railway coexists with the normal railway, and that the transportation organization gets more and more complicated, the DPL comprehensive skylight opening modes is studied and the skylight opening mode meeting the actual demand is presented, which can increase DPL comprehensive maintenance efficiency and the operation efficiency of the entire railway transportation system.Based on the research in China and aboard, the paper makes a further research to the comprehensive maintenance skylight of DPL. Firstly, the comprehensive maintenance skylight relevant theory is introduced, the opening modes of skylight are briefly analyzed. Then analyze the major factors impacting skylights, which are the night running demand in DPL, the occupation to the railway carrying capacity of different types of skylight opening modes and the maintenance demands of the DPL devices. Finally, two types of skylight opening modes are proposed, which are "one line in maintenance, the other in operation" and "both line in maintenance". The characteristics of two modes, the influence to the operation organization and the organization mode in different train running situation are presented. At the end of the paper, the determination method of DPL skylight opening mode in railway net is studied.
