To resolve contradiction among rice yield, using efficiency of nutrient resources and soil fertilizer. Investigation were conducted to verify double harvest rice cultivation and main problems in Hunan province, set up the best nutrient management mode which adapt to be used in Hunan province. Compared to the no application, Field experiments were conducted to study the effect of different nutrient management mode on rice yield. The results are as follows:1.Rice-rice-rape, Rice-rice-idle are the main double harvest rice rotation in Hunan province, uncultivated in winter, which caused resources west and soil fertility declined.2. Insufficiency of able-bodied person for their absence in farmland, simple rice cultivation, stalk return field only by 12.43% in early rice and 60% in late rice, all of them are disbennifit for cultivation.3. Compared to optimized rice cultivation in Hunan province, low rate of adopt fertilizer application farmer. The rate of N、P2O5、K2O used as adopt fertilizer application farmer in early rice by 41.91%、11.76%和9.56%, and the late rice by 24.24%、33.33%和9.09% respectively. On the other hand, High N application and the rate of farmers are 234.3kg/hm2 and 36.76% in early rice,220.8kg/hm2 and 57.58% in late rice. Low P application and the rate of farmers are 71.10kg/hm2 and 81.62% in early rice,72.15kg/hm2 and 57.58% in late rice. Low K application and the rate of farmers are 109.2kg/hm2 and 82.35% in early rice,72.15kg/hm2 and 57.58% in late rice.4. There have huge potential in improving rice yields for the enhanced nutrient management. The results of early rice experiments showed that yields under habits fertilization way of farmers increased of 18.1% to 64.1% than no application, adopt fertilizer application increased of 18.65% to 75.2% than no application. The results of late rice experiments showed that yields under habits fertilization way of farmers could increased of 14.3% to 42.64% than no application, the best nutrient management mode could increased of 16% to 50.72% than no application.5. Effects of improving yields for different nutrient management mode and different basic properties of experiment soil. The results showed that the best nutrient management mode improved rice yields obviously, especially in not high fertility soil. Under high fertility field, habits fertilization way of farmers could increased early rice yields of 18.6% to 46.36% and late rice yields of 14.3% to 19.58%, while, best nutrient management mode could increased early rice yields of 18.65% to 51.66% and late rice yields of 16% to 22.16% than no application. Experiments made in middle fertility field showed, habits fertilization way of farmers could increased early rice yields of 49.3% to 64.1% and late rice yields of 31.1% to 38.79%, while, best nutrient management mode could increased early rice yields of 61.6% to 75.2% and late rice yields of 34.14% to 46.06% than no application. Low fertility field experiments showed, habits fertilization way of farmers could increased early rice yields of 43.26% to 54.25% and late rice yields of 37.50% to 42.64%, while, best nutrient management could increased early rice yields of 49.37% to 69.43% and late rice yields of 43.06% to 50.72% than no application.
