This article nutrient solution sand culture experiment set 0,1.25,2.5,5.0 and 10.0μmol L -1 sup> Cd levels, research cadmium in rice (Oryza satrva L.) growth and development physiological metabolism and brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens St (?) 1.) feeding, oviposition preference; located 0,1.25,2.5 and 5.0μmol L -1 sup> 4 cadmium processing level, the study of cadmium on the biological characteristics of the major pests on the rice brown planthopper. The main conclusions are as follows: cadmium stress conditions, rice affected the normal growth and development. Rice aboveground growth severely inhibition underground growth, there is a certain stimulus, however, that the existence of a significant inhibitory effect on plant height and plant height decreased significantly with increasing cadmium concentration; cadmium stress on rice root length and root dry weight are not significant; significantly higher soluble sugar content of rice under Cd stress, and reducing sugar did not change significantly, the total amount of free amino acids and gamma-aminobutyric acid content was significantly higher, and with increasing cadmium concentrations decreased after increasing trend. Cadmium stress conditions, the brown planthopper feeding preference and spawning habits are also affected. Pairwise comparison results with a comprehensive selection results, The brown planthopper tend to the low concentration of cadmium stress in rice feeding and spawning, spawning habits of the differences reached a significant level. The cadmium stress reduces the brown planthopper honeydew, but only in 1.25μmol · L -1 sup> significant difference with the control. Cadmium stress significantly shorten the brown planthopper nymph. The cadmium stress increased mortality of nymphs under different processing levels of mortality in the fifth instar nymphs highest age minimum, but only in 5.0μmol L -1 sup> of cadmium stress under the fifth instar nymphs mortality and other horizontal processing there are significant differences. Cadmium stress reducing the weight of a female adult, but had no significant effect on the male body weight. High concentrations of cadmium stress affects the subalgebra of the brown planthopper, only in the cadmium concentration reached 5.0μmol L -1 sup>, the brown planthopper subalgebra was significantly reduced. The concentrations of cadmium serious impediment to the growth and development of rice, as well as through the rice will the cadmium pass to Brown Planthopper, developmental duration of the brown planthopper, the number of eggs, hatching number, weight, and feeding on spawning behavior have a negative impact. The above studies illustrate the impact of the heavy metals cadmium of rice brown planthopper life of system, the foundation for further study of the ecological function of the heavy metal cadmium in the farmland ecosystems.
