Abstract


Confucianism is in a key position of Chinese traditional culture. It constitutes the main force and basic thoughts. How can the Chinese nation revive after declining and live forever through five thousand years has fundamental connection with the succession and development of Confucianism. Confucianism is a kind of doctrine which was established by Kong Zi and pursuits the thoughts of "cultivating oneself, keeping family harmonious, administrating a country, and unifying the whole country". Through thousand years’developing of Chinese nation, it became the theme ideology of the long Chinese feudal social by adopting other thoughts extensively, and showed different characters in different times. After North Song dynasty, Based on the fusion and permeation of three religions in Tang dynasty, Confucianism absorbed thoughts of Buddhist philosophy and Taoism, became a new Confucianism—Neo-Confucianism. There were two factions in Neo-Confucianism:Cheng Zhu Neo-Confucianism and Lu Wang heart doctrine, Cheng Zhu Neo-Confucianism was induced by Zhu Xi, then became the philosophy of the government in Yuan and Ming dynasties. Yuan dynasty was the first minority national government which ruled Central Plains and established a unified feudal dynasty, under the slave political administrative system, how to spread and develop the Neo-Confucianism in the time of last Song dynasty and initial Yuan dynasty is the main problem discussed in this thesis.The spread and influence of Neo-Confucianism in last Song dynasty and initial Yuan dynasty was discussed simple in this thesis. There are three parts in it:Part one, analyzed the background of that era in the respects of politic, economic, culture. Part two discussed the reasons of the spreading of Neo-Confucianism, the most important one is the acceptance and supporting of the president Kublai khan, the protection of Confucian scholars and hard working for spreading Neo-Confucianism from them are execution condition, Zhao Fu, Xu Heng, Yao Shu and Liu Yin among them play a irreplaceable rule of spreading and developing Neo-Confucianism. Finally, the prosperous schools contribute the spreading of Neo-Confucianism. Part three analyzed the influence of the Neo-Confucianism spreading in respects of president: politic, military, agriculture, etiquette and custom. Finally the limitation and the great vitality of Neo-Confucianism were discussed.
