Abstract


Economic growth theory is one of the hot issues of economics research, and foreign direct investment FDI is the effect of economic growth is one of the important factors. Many studies have shown that, an economy to introduce of FDI, the more the promoting function of its economic growth is bigger. But FDI for economic growth the promoting function of supervision by a lot of factors, some authentic economic system, labor composing in etc, these factors make FDI in each region of the promoting effect on economic growth is not the same.JinLin belongs to the northeast of China,being a province that has rich natural resource but Economic level is relatively backward.Compared with the developed province, there is big disparity.The research significance of this paper is finding the problems and drawbacks of the use of the FDI,analysing the reasons on account of the economical realities,and put forward corresponding proposals.In the base of summarizing the existing research literature,this paper combines quality analysis and quantity analysis together.Fristly, From the regional economic growth, foreign direct investment of two aspects analysize the status quo of jilin province, then foreign direct investment on the regional economic growth function from the capital formation, technological progress and labor employment mechanism analysis of the three aspects are taken.In the mechanism on the basis of analysis, this paper selects the relevant data of jilin province, using cointegration analysis and granger causality test, namely, foreign direct investment to labor employment, the capital formation, total factor productivity and economic increase total effect empirically.The econometric results show that, the foreign direct investment in jilin province labor employment is not significant, but the influence of the capital formation, and the influence of technological progress a comparatively small impact. Mainly displays in foreign direct investment and jilin province labor employment growth the correlation between the small, fitting low degree, FDI difficult to explain the labor employment change, both and Granger causality are not. And FDI and capital formation of jilin province, and promote each other significant relationship. FDI and jilin technological progress correlation coefficient is small, relationship is not significant, but they are the cause that jilin FDI in introducing host technological progress the promoting function of small.Basing on the studying above, the paper gives relative policy suggestions and holds the view that on one hand the scale of the FDI introducing should be expanded，on the other hand the quality of FDI should be emphasized.
