Abstract


Comparing with the driving system of beam pumping unit, electric submersible pumping unit and screw pumping unit, the novel direct-drive screw pumping unit driving system displays more superiority. This article focuses on the investigation and exploitation of direct-drive screw pumping unit driving system, it contains:①According to the performance of the direct-drive screw pumping driving system, a sine-wave permanent magnet brushless motor is chosen as the driving motor. The structure of the motor is improved, the result of the electromagnetic calculation is displayed, and the prototype is manufactured.②The driving system of the direct-drive screw pumping unit is studied, concluding the hardware (e.g. the control panels, operation panel, and the circuit of rectification and invert etc.) and software (e.g. the communication of control and operation panels, the port setting of control panel, the boot program of motor, and the program of speed adjust). The design result and prototype of the systems is shown, and work hard at over voltage protection, current overload protection, the capability of soft start, the soft brake of the motor, the self-heating and wind cooling.③The system fault of this driving system is analyzed in this article, some improve plan is used, which make the system performances better.④The experiments in laboratory and the practical application demonstrate that this system has good performance on operation and efficiency.
