Abstract

During the preparation for the Athens Olympics, the Tennis Center carried out the policy of concentrating the women tennis and breaking through in women doubles. The Center spares no effort developing the women tennis - employing foreign tutors for women players and helping them take part in international competitions frequently. As a result, the women tennists make constant achievements, such as Li Na, Zheng Jie, Peng Shuai, etc, who join in the match overseas for a long term and make great progress, especially in women doubles. However, we should see it clear that the women tennis sports in china is still in a lower level in whole than other countries, Esp. worse in singles. The main gap between our women players and foreign outstanding women players is displayed in attacking consciousness, service, return of service, serving the ball to the net, terrible power.During the preparation for the Beijing Olympics, the Tennis Center revised the strategies - strengthening ability firstly, the doubles events bringing along the singles events, making the former more outstanding and the latter more competitive. After the Games, the good athletes were admitted to train and join in match on their own, which thus became a new pattern in professional sports by means of the whole country. So we should study advanced tennis competition theories, reinforce the new tendency of the development of the modern tennis, analyze deeply the victory rules of the tennis, and give service to our training practice.The contemporary world-class women athletes have some main features: they have excellent force and skill, strong active attacking consciousness, strong batting force and comprehensive skills. The study on the current situation of our countries’ fine women singles players’ athletic levels will be helpful for us to find and research the gap with the world top players. The research is guided by the Group Event Theory of Standing on both Sides of Net with Bats, is based on the fact of the nowadays women tennis sports of our countries, draws lessons from the successful cases of our superior events, censuses, contrasts and analyzes each technique and tactic index of the fine women tennis player at home and abroad by the way of quantitative statistics, video observation and talk with experts, summarizes the gap and puts forward the countermeasures of the iridescence of the women techniques. Through the research, the following conclusions are gained:1. The fine women tennists of our country is greatly poorer that the top women tennists in the world in force and skill, which is embodied in the stature of body shape, the upper limbs strength, the explosive energy of upper limbs and lower limbs on sports diathesis.2. The main differences between the fine women tennists of our country and the fine women tennists of the world are the use of service, return serve and advancement to the net.3. The main differences between the fine women tennists of our country and the fine women tennists of the world are as follow: advantage of serve tactics system is distinctness, the score rate of return serve tactics system is low and winner is little.4. The main problems on the mentality diathesis of the fine women tennists of our country are as follow: too easy to feel nervous in key match; stress is too strong in the important match; not feel confidence when confront the strong rival; too easy to worrying and absent in the will for win.
