Abstract

To prove that the pen-hold playing method with pimples-in bat is possible to be developed continuously as well to provide some references and theoretical support for the tactics of table tennis and the development of this sport, in the paper the author analyzed statistically the techniques and tactics of world-famous penholders with pimples-in bat, by the literature method, mathematical statistics, observing videos, the three-index method, the sectional-index method and the method of analyzing advantageous and disadvantageous individual tactics. The author also interviewed some authorities and experts in the table tennis field, hoping to summarize the similarities and regularities of the pen-hold playing method with pimples-in bat and to further analyze some problems brought by the new systems and new rules in competitions and the development tendency of this playing method, thus some scientific theories and references can be provided to improve the tactics of the pen-hold playing method with pimples-in bat in our country.Conclusions:1.To maintain a long-term and well development of the pen-hold playing method with pimples-in bat, it is essential to keep on improving the tactics of "linking the second with the fourth stroke" and "linking third stroke with the fifth stroke" as well the ability of sustaining rally. It is also of great importance not only to improve the capability of mutual strokes, but also to develop the consciousness and ability of attacks and defenses. The development tendency of the pen-hold playing method with pimples-in bat is the integration in an all-round way.2. In competitions, for excellent penholders with pimples-in bat, the key point to win is that the rate of usage and scoring of serving and catching balls should be much higher than the estimated and standard figure of three-index. The tactics of the first four strokes are the core techniques of the pen-hold playing method with pimples-in bat. 3. In competition, the advantageous tactics of excellent pen-holders with pimples-in bat are forehand side attacks, chopping and controlling balls in the court; while the disadvantage is backhand stroke.4.The general features of excellent pen-holders with pimples-in bat are their perfect mastery of techniques and tactics, such as service, service reception, attack after service, skills in the court, forehand side attacks and so on.5. The linking tactics of the second and the fourth stroke are well used by excellent pen-holders with pimples-in bat in competitions.6. The key to maintain a long-term advantage in the pen-hold playing method with pimples-in bat is the linking tactics of the third and fifth stroke.
