Quality plays an important role for the existence and development of a corporation, especially for pharmaceutical industry. It is heavily related to the life and health for each patient. With the development of producing technology, it becomes more important to improve quality control and automatic and intelligent checking in producing process to avoid the adverse effects caused by the negligence of the production staff and management quality. It will provide a strong technical support for timely, accurate and efficient complement of product quality control and ensure that no unqualified products flow to the market.In this paper, it makes a research and develops NP4 production quality check system from Novonordisk pharmaceutical co., Ltd. A detailed description about the vision check system general process from requirement analysis, system analysis, hardware and software design is proposed.During the development process, The DVT vision system from CONGNEX U.S. has been choose as hardware platform and the special software Framework terminal be the interface and embed it to the whole production system with Siemens PLC. This system is easy for installation and maintenance as well as friendly interface, cross-platform, cross-boundary operation.The working efficiency is improved in operation phase, which illustrates the effectiveness and high accuracy, and the quality is guaranteed. The effective control for the product ultimately has been achieved.
