Abstract


With the development of communication technology and database technology, more and more applications need to access heterogeneous, distributed database to complete the task. Multi-database system on the basis of these databases without changing the original, to provide users with a unified, integrated multi-database environment, the user can access these databases unified model and query language. In this paper, the theory of multi-agent and multi-database systems, according to some of the issues involved in the current database system, the introduction of multi-database system suitable for application of mobile Agent and multi-agent technology, research and design based on multi-agent multi-database system to overcome some of the problems that exist in the multi-database system design in the past. The first introduced agent and mobile agent technology, most libraries involved in the mode integration, task allocation, task decomposition, and other aspects of the global transaction management depth and meticulous research. Each distributed heterogeneous local database systems using XML-based model integration approach, In addition, when the system integration into account not only the integration of heterogeneous relational databases, but also consider the XML file system integrated with a relational database for after the system integration of semi-structured database laid the foundation. The variety of tasks in the integrated mode based on the application of XQuery as a global query language, the decomposition of the global query language to achieve a global task decomposition, and the decomposition algorithm, at the same time the user submits an update, delete, insert the corresponding decomposition algorithm to overcome the shortcomings of the past, many systems only query problem discussed. In this paper, the features of the mobile agent applications in a distributed system, the introduction of mobile agent technology to solve the multi-database system on the network with high reliability requirements, reducing the dependence on network bandwidth and improve the efficiency of the system are executed in parallel. Multi-database system for transaction control, the introduction of a series of transaction management, and which is suitable for multi-database deadlock resolution, a good solution to the deadlock of the system. In addition to the XML file system also discussed the the corresponding transaction control strategy. This paper introduces a local agent to shield local heterogeneous databases difference to the various heterogeneous database query language translation by the local agent for the global query language, designed for different database systems and the corresponding transaction commits agent, thereby global transaction to achieve the two-phase commit protocol.
