VHF radar beam is wider, strongly influenced by ground reflection , it is often only estimated high and can not be used to measure high . This article describes the response to this problem , four VHF radar altimetry generalized MUSIC algorithm and a new space-time cascade maximum likelihood algorithm is based on the array of super- resolution technology , the other two , one is based on radial basis function network, based on the lobe division, at the same time gives the performance analysis of the four high measurement method . A defense pre-research project , thesis, in which the two algorithms altimetry system design . In the design process , the use of general-purpose digital signal processors (TS101) and FPGA high-performance devices such as the completion of the design and debugging of the measured high processing module circuit schematic and PCB diagram , assembly language design DSP- work software , design using VHDL language of the control logic of the FPGA . Finally , it is pointed out that the problem should pay attention to engineering design and practice .
