Abstract

The next-generation network convergence exchange mechanism and transmission system , the integration of the different exchange mechanisms so that the future of communications network such as IP / WDM, IP / SDH / WDM networks showed a multi-level network structure . IP / WDM is the development trend of the next - generation transport network , but the existing network to provide traditional voice business based SDH network still occupy an important position . In the coming period , the two-tier structure of IP over SDH / SONET , IP over WDM , SDH over WDM network and the three-tier structure of IP over SDH over WDM networks will co-exist , the hierarchical structure of the entire network was diversified . To multilayer network joint election road and optimal allocation of resources in a multi-level network integration of a variety of exchange mechanisms is one of the hot issues of the current network research has important theoretical significance and application prospects . In this paper, Huawei Technologies Co. , Ltd. Technology Fund project \the multilayer network based routing algorithm IRAMN , proposed an improved global optimal three-layer network routing and resource optimization algorithm - GRROA . The completed Software Design and Implementation of GRROA algorithm , performance analysis and validation by computer simulation of the proposed algorithm . Finally, the author concludes the paper put forward the direction of future research work .
