Reduced radar cross section value (Radar Cross Section, RCS) for naval security is very important . Ship stealth is a big problem today naval powers of general concern . This paper introduces the characteristics of the ship RCS calculated using FDTD (Finite Difference Time domain Method, FDTD) method on a large ship 's RCS between the the ships outer wall inclination and overall RCS less shrinkage relationship , for ship stealth design technology to provide part of the data . First, this paper as a reference to a ship established heading and positive horizontal approximate two-dimensional model , calculated based on two-dimensional finite-difference time-domain method to ship heading in the case of different frequency of the incident wave radar is lateral scattering cross section. According to the calculation results , the analysis of a ship's radar stealth characteristics . Secondly , in order to reduce the the warship overall RCS sloping design of the outer wall of the ship . Further discussion within the inclined angle of the ship superstructure increase ship overall RCS reduction , by means of theoretical analysis and simulation repeatedly drawn the ship superstructure introverted quantitative relationship between the angle with the ship as a whole RCS is ship stealth design reference. In this paper, the method of software programming estimated ship RCS design cost and cycle saving benefits , this method can be used for electromagnetic scattering analysis of existing ships , and can be used to estimate and optimize future weapon systems on the ship target electromagnetic scattering characteristics requirements , provide the basis for pre-estimation of the RCS of large ships .
