Objective:This thesis attempts to verify the clinical efficacy of the combination of lesions resection,Compression-distraction lengthening.external use of BaiBing Powder and internal use of three phases of herbal drugs on infected nonunion.Methods:30 patients who suffer from infected nonunion were divided into two groups randomly:treatment group (n=15) and control group (n=15). Two groups were treated with drugs on the basis of lesions resection,Compression-distraction lengthening,the effective antibiotics injection after operation. BaiBing Powder was used externally on the wounds and at the pin tracts of external fixator.Meanwhile,the effective antibiotics injection was intravenously dripped for 7 days and three phases of herbal drugs were taken orally in treatment group. While in control group, wounds were dressed by iodoform ribbon- gauze,75% ethanol was dropped at the pin tracts of external fixator twice daily and the effective antibiotics injection was intravenously dripped for 3 weeks. All other drugs about infected nonunion were forbidden.The efficacy before and after the treatment was evaluated through three aspects,namely, the overall observation results,the auxiliary examination results,and the local symptoms and signs.Results:Compared with control group,the healing time of nonunion,therapeutic index of external fixator,wound healing time,auxiliary examination results,local clinical symptoms or signs change were significantly different.There were no obvious adverse cases in treatment group.Conclusion:The combination of lesions resection,Compression-distraction lengthening, external usage of BaiBing Powder and internal use of three phases of herbal drugs accelerates callus formation,mineralization speed and wound healing,shortens the time of external fixation and effectively prevents pin tract infection.
