Abstract


Study on fluctuations in the price of pork is an enduring topic in recent years. 20th century since the 80’s, China’s pork price fluctuation study progressed very quickly, and achieved a considerable amount of research results. However, these results of China’s pork prices was due to cyclical fluctuations in a matter of opinion, so far without any definite conclusion.Consumer demand for pork price volatility is a very important variable. Since 1985, China’s live pig market was very prosperous, but at the same time along with the dramatic price fluctuations, with the live market price of pork is also a quest ups and downs in a series aimed at curbing price fluctuations are difficult to be effective policy measures when consumer demand in the role of price volatility has begun to show more and more important. Through the regulation of consumption to ease the price volatility has become an increasingly pressing issue.
