Abstract


Data mining is a topic with great applicable value in database research, which combines different theories and technologies in database, artificial intelligence and machine learning. This dissertation introduces systematically the architecture, the method and applications of data mining.The ERP is system engineering which focuses on both the exterior and interior of the enterprise. It is also a solution to the informational of an enterprise. To a manufacturing enterprise, without the support of its production line on the L2/L3 level, its ERP system will definitely become a“solitary island of information”, which is divorced from the actual production of an enterprise and whose success is very unlikely. Any change in steel manufacture will surely be reflected on logistics which runs through the process of steel manufacture. Logistics is the carrier of capital flow, value stream and the market response speed (contract redemption speed). Thus in the process of implementing ERP, the company should make full use of the method of multi-dimensional management system of logistics to optimize, regulate and control the guiding ideology in the production of iron and steel, and at the same time, focus on the viewpoint concerning entirety, long term, optimization, comprehensive analysis within the system, It is recommended to take into consideration the problems in the process of the iron and steel manufacture and build the L3 level production line comprehensively, so as to lay the foundation for the effective operation of the ERP system. Linking with the actual production practice in Panzhihua Iron and Steel Company, the author of this dissertation expounds the functions of ERP and MES systems in the company, together with its development and research.It has become an arduous task for the iron and steel companies to find valuable information or knowledge from the abundant MES data stored in different forms. Combining with the reality of the Vanadium Abstraction and Steel Production Factory, the author has made research into data warehouse, data mining technology and the present situation of the development of data mining technology both home and abroad, so as to research into and develop the application of data storage and data mining in steel-making MES system.
