Abstract


Researching and developing new technology or new product continually is the survival and the development basis of the high-tech enterprise. However the enhancement of new technical complex and the intersection of different disciplines and different fields of technology, in addition to the reduction of the new product life cycle and the aggravation of competition have enlarged the enterprise risk of independent research development.In order to get rid of the restriction of own resources and abilities, more and more high-tech enterprises realize that it is an efficient approach to reduce the risk through allying with other enterprises to share risks and resources.Therefore the establishment of research and development alliance (R&D alliance) becomes the advisable selection of many enterprises.However it is already an accepted fact at present that the R&D alliance is facing very high failure rate and the unsuccessful partner selection is one of the substantial causes.Therefore, researching the influencing factors of the high-tech enterprise R&D alliance partner selection has the quite important theory value and practical significance to enhance the success ratio of R&D alliance and promote the alliance performance.This article takes the high-tech enterprise as the object of study and carries on the theoretical and empirical study on the influencing factors of partner selection during the process of R&D alliance establishment from the angle of the promotion of alliance performance. It provides reference for the high-tech enterprise to choice alliance partner correctly, reduce the alliance failure rate and promote alliance performance.Firstly, the related literature at home and abroad was summarized and reviewed and the correlative theory foundation was analyzed thoroughly which provided the theoretical support for the further research. Secondly, the correlative analysis about the high-tech enterprise R&D alliance was carried on then the significance of the establishment of R&D alliance in the high-tech enterprise was proposed and the importance of the alliance partner selection as well as the existent problems was analyzed. Thirdly, the influencing factors of R&D alliance partner selection and the alliance performance was researched deeply and "the alliance after effect factors" which was one of the influencing factors of R&D alliance partner selection was proposed then the structural equation model of the influencing factors of R&D alliance partner selection was constructed based on the previous analysis.Finally, the empirical analysis was carried on based on the data obtained from the questionnaire survey in order to confirm the research supposition and deduce the research conclusions then the suggestions were proposed in order to promote the effective partner selection of the R&D alliance in the high-tech enterprise on the basis of those research conclusions.
