Abstract


Clinical pathway are focus on some kind of disease and establish a standardized treatment program that is based on the time the patient visits the process, combined with treatment, the examination and treatment project, the order and time limits for requirements to increase the manage the quality in healthcare concerning the standardization of care processes.The construction of clinical pathway management is one of the most important public hospital management strategies in our country. Starting form 2009, some of the 2nd class and 3rd class hospital beginning to launch the Clinical pathway, some of those have already established the management system of clinical pathway. But some is still handle the pathway charts and statistic data by hand. Some hospitals even though the establishment of electronic clinical path management system, because of various reasons did not, and HIS, EMR system, the establishment of information exchange, duplication of data entry not only increased the burden on the medical staff, and easy to increase the incidence of errors. Due to the lack of support for regional clinical pathway management, community service centers or hospitals were unable to extend/ follow-up the treatment path from the major hospital, it leading the crowded situation in the major hospitals. We have to Build up a medical information system for the actual medical situation for our own country, and integrated regional clinical pathway management system to improve quality of medical and reduce medical costs, thus increase the satisfaction from patient, and change the traditional mind of patient which is“difficult and expensive for medical treatment”.This paper describes the situation of medical information technology, and trends in our country and abroad, it summary the imbalance situation of China’s medical information technology and the essential trends of integrated hospital information system. combined with the SaaS architecture and object-oriented design techniques ideas, establish a patient-centered, knowledge-based clinical pathway guidelines, to meet the needs of multi-tenant clinical pathway management system. Implementation of clinical pathways, variation, a detailed configuration analysis of the process to establish service model, define the service interface and database design carried out. Achieved through the system, based on SaaS model initially demonstrated the clinical feasibility and path management system operability. The system presents us with a good future prospects for health care development: Through the powerful mobile network technology and intelligent platform technology, building national health information management platform to promote the concept of advanced medical services, so the patient can at any time to get their medical information and the best treatment options, and ultimately reduce the developed areas standards of medical care and differences in backward areas.
