Abstract


To addressing the insufficiency in personalized service and limitation of literal searching in online recruitment area, this thesis proposes an ontology-based personalized recommendation system, and further discusses the method of ontology-based user modeling.This thesis first introduces the research background, as well as the status quo across the world, focusing on the applicableness of current ontology-based user modeling method in online recruitment area. Then based on the characteristics of online recruitment area, it proposes the principle of personalized bilateral recommendation. Based on relative research, it further proposes the method for ontology-based user modeling in this area, including user profiling, data gathering, model learning and model updating. The thesis also describes resource recommendation method based on the user model in this area. Examples to demonstrate the efficiency of the user model are given in the later part of this thesis.In all, this thesis discusses the principle of bilateral recommendation, an ontology-based user modeling method and the resource recommendation method based on the user model in online recruitment area, which can also be applied to other areas which use bilateral recommendation.
