Abstract

When the oil into the water, the formation of oil-water emulsion, or the formation of the oil film floating on the surface of the water. The oil contains toxic constituents, even low concentrations of oily wastewater will pose a threat to traditional wastewater treatment systems in bacteria, destruction of water treatment systems running. Oily waste water must be processed before discharge. This article by the hydrophobic modification treatment, the surface of the acrylic material to improve the oleophilic hydrophobic properties, and the effect of it as a new oil processing material, testing the modified material degreasing. Experiments under both static and dynamic conditions, the specific contents and conclusions are as follows: (1) study of the best conditions of fiber surface modification, the experimental results show that the catalyst amount, the amount of ethanol, the reaction time and reaction temperature affect change sexual effects of the main factors. Optimum modification conditions: catalyst, ethanol, and the fibrous material has a mass ratio of 16:50:1, and the reaction time is 1 hour, the reaction temperature was 90 ° C. (2) The fiber samples were tested under different reaction conditions, by IR spectroscopy confirmed the modification reaction to occur on the fiber surface. The fiber was observed with an optical microscope before and after modification, the results show that the modified fibers diameter after thickening, surface roughness increases. (3) study the adsorption capacity of the fiber in the pure oil, experiments show that the modified fiber SAE 30, MEO and SAE 50 adsorption amount, respectively, to 16.8 g / g, 15.8 g / g and 17.9 g / g. Compared with unmodified fibers, modified fiber oil SAE 30, the amount of adsorption of the MEO and SAE 50 were increased by 65.5%, 25% and 20%. (4) the presence of water will decrease the oil absorption amount of the fiber, and adsorbed in the surface of a body of water for 1 hour, the modified fiber SAE 30, SAE 50 and MEO adsorption than unmodified fiber, respectively, 79.3%, 78.6% and 67.5% . The adsorption capacity of the modified fiber with the decline in the number, but repeated three times after oil absorption decreased to no more than 25%. (5) to study fiber as filler in coarse-grained bed degreasing effect, the results show that the improved adsorption force between oil and fiber modification reaction, modified fiber oil removal better than the unmodified The fibrous better. For modified fibrous filler, the optimum packing density of 105 kg/m3, the optimum length of the bed is 3cm the modified coarse fluidized bed, under the optimum conditions in the low, medium, and high flow rate of oil removal were 97.3%, 93.5% and 84.9%, respectively. For unmodified fiber, the best packing density of 35 kg/m3, best bed length 3cm unmodified coarse-grained bed under the best conditions to go low, medium and high three velocity oily wastewater oil The removal rate of 95%, 82% and 71%, respectively. The study results show that it is feasible to do oil processing materials by a modified method of recycling solid acrylic fiber.
